BILLIE HOLIDAY (LAYLA) AND ELLA FITZGERALD (TABITHA)
Hi Pamela. As I am writing this response, Billie Holiday(Layla) and Ella Fitzgerald(Tabitha) are lying together on the same chair. Great strides have been made in regard to Ella getting along with Billie. Hopefully, they will become better friends as time passes.  They are both wonderfully friendly and love sitting on my lap.  Billie is a little shy when new people come over, but Ella isn't afraid of anyone human or animal. She loves to eat, and will eat anything that is left uncovered. Billie had to have a repair surgery on her spaying incision last Thursday, and seems to be healing well.  They both love to play and are extraordinary jumpers. Ella is a retriever with her toy mice or balls. I throw them, and she brings them back chirping the whole time. I am so pleased with them both, and am looking forward to a long life with them.

HARLEY (MARK)
Hi Pam, thank you for your email again. We absolutely love Mark whom we have named Harley (we love to ride Harley motorcycles). He has been such a wonderful blessing to us. However, we are having to deal with a bit of separation anxiety. He is VERY smart and has figured out how to open our lower level sliding door. We are hopeful that he will be over it soon. He is otherwise well behaved. Having him has been a real joy!

SAM
Sorry it took so long to get back to you! We had 4 Christmas parties in the last week and a half. So, about Sam. We didn’t change her name, she is still Sam. She is adjusting beautifully to her new home. She’s not completely convinced about our dog Ruger though. He wants so bad to be her friend, I think time will change that. She also has a sister, her name is Olive. We had Olive before Sam, but she came from our sons farm. They kept all 5 kittens from a litter their barn cat had. Our 4 year old granddaughter who has taken ownership of all the kittens, cried for 3 days until we brought Olive home. That’s when we came to get Sam. After a few days we had the grandkids for a sleepover. Our granddaughter felt bad for Sam because she had to leave her sister Selene at the shelter, so she decided Olive should come stay with her! They get along great! They have a basket of toys, lots of little mice, to play with. We have pine trees with the bark still on for beams in our log cabin and they regularly climb them. I am sending you 2 pictures. One is Sam alone, and one is with Olive. She is a very happy cat, and is a part of our family! We love her so much! Thank you all for what you do to connect families with deserving pets!
