JOSIE (BLONDIE)
Blondie’s name has been changed to Josie. Her owners love her. She’s an only child (no other pets). ONLY negative thing said about Blondie is that she sheds. She has a sleep pad on the porch, but doesn’t use it as she prefers to sleep on the couch. She’s good with all people. She loves to be petted. She didn’t bark for the first couple days. Her owners thought that was unusual. Josie started barking and soon claimed ownership of the house and yard. Owners don’t let her run – they keep her on a leash because they live near a busy road.

FURBIE
Furbie’s owner (Ruth) is 92-years-old. She asks what happened to her cat as he’s afraid of everyone. If anyone comes over, he hides. It took him a long time to get used to Ruth, but he finally has. Ruth said she has some old slippers she was going to throw away, but Furbie likes sleeping on them. Ruth thinks Furbie was abused by his previous owner. She says he likes to sit in the window and watch the birds. Ruth is happy with her companion.

We have been meaning to send you an update on Calli and Kitt Kat, so your email is a great reminder. We can't imagine not having these girls in our lives.

It all started with Daniel, my youngest son wanting to have his very own pet. An online search began and everything just fell into place perfectly. We didn't expect to adopt two kittens but when we met the two sisters and Calli took to Daniel and Kitt Kat took to Joseph (my middle son) there was no doubt in adopting both kittens.
Calli and Kitt Kat have made Daniel and Joseph's summer! We kept the kitten's original names, they just fit the girls. Thank you for taking such good care of all the animals up for adoption.
Just this morning Calli woke Daniel up by purring in his ear, which then he woke me up, and thank you Calli because I slept through my alarm and would have been late to work.
Personality updates:

Both girls are curious but it's been fun to see their personalities come out. Calli is cautious when people stop over yet she's always watching what we're doing, she caught and ate a cricket that got in the house, and she has the loudest purr! Kitt Kat loves water, playing in the sink and even fell in Joseph's bath! She is always ready to play and if Joseph is on the couch with his blanket Kitt Kat is there right next to him. Calli has the loud purr and Kitt Kat has a little vocal meow. We love them.
Thank you Humane Society of Burnett!
