GATO
AND OZ (ANDREA AND OZ)
We
renamed Andre to Gato which is Spanish for cat. Other than his compulsion
to be on kitchen counters and table tops (which we are working on) Gato is a
very nice cat. He is somewhat of a talker and has a sweet “trilling”
sound that he makes. Gato is gentle, mellow and adapting well to our
household.
In
contrast to Gato, OZ is in the pre-teen wild kitty mode right now. He has
so much energy to burn and loves to gallop from one end of our house to the
other. There isn’t anything that he won’t try to bat around and chase
whether it be a cat toy, eyeglasses, piece of fuzz or any random item on the
floor. In his calmer moments, he is friendly, cuddly and loves to sleep
in our laps. I think our neighbors a couple of fields away could hear his
loud purr when he’s being petted.
Both OZ
and Gato play together well. Neither one seems to dominate the
other. It was the right decision for us to bring them home at the same
time.
I have
a couple pictures of them on my phone if you have a cell phone number for me to
send them to.
