BUDDY
Buddy is fitting into our family quite well now.  We continue to call him Buddy – he seems to be used to it.  He is a husky and, if given a chance, loves to run far afield.  We're getting better at not letting him get off of his leash or tether.  He is very friendly with people and other dogs.  Since we live most of the time in the Twin Cities, he really loves the off leash dog park.  When we bring them up to Burnett County, he is learning to skijoring and is taking to it as one would expect a Siberian Husky.  He's still a bit skinny and a picky eater, but his appetite seems to be picking up and he likes the New Science food we give him, especially when we put a little bratwurst or tuna fish in it.

Thanks for volunteering with the Humane Society.

MOLLI
Molli has been a member of our family for just over 2 1/2 weeks now.  She was a perfect match, right from the start.  We were looking for a gentle dog who loved cuddles and long walks, and that is just what we got in Molli.  She is very, very loveable, and at times is my shadow as she follows me around.  I'm glad she was adopted into a rural setting because she loves the country. In the morning after breakfast, we go for a long walk on the trails in our woods, and she runs through the woods, always within our field of vision, and then she will stop abruptly just to sniff the interesting aroma on a weed, or in an animal track.  As we near the end of the walk, two neighbor dogs run down to greet her, and they play the rest of the way back to our house.  After lunch we go on a neighborhood walk where two women and two dogs join us.  Molli again runs just for the joy of it, then will stop to play with the other two dogs, then head out on a good run again.  She is the perfect addition to our family and we love her like crazy.

ALICE (CALLA)
Good Morning,

Calla is now Alice and she is doing great!! She has 4 brothers and a sister and gets along with them all like she's been with us all along. She's getting joint supplements as well as coconut oil mixed in with her food, so we haven't had any more issues with her eating. She actually runs to her bowl at meal time. She's just a sweet little old lady, loves sleeping at the foot of the bed and napping in tight corners. She is a really sweet girl, we're so happy to have her in our lives!!
