MISTLETOE
Hey guys, Mistletoe here......I know this isn't my best picture or profile yet... Give me some time! Just wanted to say,  I thank you guys so much for taking care of me and saving my life. If it wasn't for all of you help, I would be dead. Thanks to Dr. Tom too!

I just got to my forever home earlier today. It was a nice ride home. I just wanted to jump out of the carrier when I got there. However another kitty kat here wasn't so happy. I was so darn happy but thought I should pretend I wasn't... I think my trick worked! I think I live with an animal whisperer..... She rubbed my little burned paws...spoke so softly. It felt so good... Next thing you know....my nails were trimmed!!!So far so good! I will keep you updated.

NIKO (SHAKESPEARE)
Thank you for your follow up inquiry about our recent adoption.  We picked up Shakespeare on February 23rd (about 5 weeks ago now).  First of all we have renamed him Niko which seems more fitting for a Siberian Husky.  The initial adjustment period went very smoothly and we are extremely happy we have Niko in our family.  When he left your facility he weighed 17.5# and has gained over 7 pounds in just 5 weeks.  We had him to the vet on Monday and he weighed in at 25 pounds.  We had a lot of snow on the ground when he arrived.  He just loved playing/digging/poking & jumping around in the snow.  It is so much fun watching him bounce & play around with anything he passed by.  Niko has adjusted so well into our family and does extremely well with small children.  He looks forward to going for rides in the truck every day.  Niko is truly becoming a “little buddie” companion with my husband.  Now that the snow is melting from the fields he has enjoyed runs alongside the four-wheeler.  Niko is all registered for puppy behavioral classes and will be attending in a few weeks.   We love him so!

ROMEO
Romeo has been doing great in his new home! He loves playing with our two girls and is working on befriending our two cats as well.  Romeo loves going on walks and stroller rides with the family, has already gone along on a road trip, and is learning new tricks and commands every day!  Romeo has quickly become a part of our family and has adjusted so well in the few weeks we have had him.
