My husband and I adopted these three wonderful animals from the Humane
Society and we couldn't be happier. All three have settled in with the
other dogs and cats and are now part of our family. As a volunteer, the
first animal I met was Ursula, a shy kitty who was waiting to be
adopted and I fell in love with her. Well she was, but then two years
later she was back at the shelter. I couldn't stand to see her there
again so scooped her up and brought her home and the rest is history!
Maya came in as a lone puppy and on July 2011 she became another member
of our family. As if that wasn't enough, we adopted another puppy in
May of this year named Ellie. We have a very busy household now with
our three dogs and various cats and don't regret having any of them.
All are rescue animals and they make best family additions, they are
loving and grateful of having a forever home. Mind you once in a while I
have to remind them, but worth every minute. If you're looking for a
new pet, please consider adopting from a shelter - you won't regret it!
