Fonzie has had how shall I say this?..... A very active settling in period. Which he has been a real trooper about. Our homebase is in Bloomington MN. But in the summer we spend a great deal of our free time at our lake property near Cushing WI. So our cats learn to travel right away. Fonzie who's name has morphed into Dudely is an excellent little traveler! After a few minutes of meowing he settles right into his kennel and I don't hear another peep out of him.
He has 3 new sibs in his new cat family as you already know. The bonding is going very well as far as I'm concerned. He plays and has started grooming with our 9 month old Marty.
The other 2 cats are a little bit older but coming along in their own times. The oldest will still occasionally hiss. I will take that over piss any old day. 😜
Last weekend I took him to Grantsburg and got his rabies shot, all went well.
He is also learning very easily as most cats do how to wear and figure out how a radio controlled collar and in ground fence work. So he gets to be outside when we are outside but only in the area we have laid out. Here in Bloomington and at the Lake.
He is such an amazing little guy, lying here next to me right now head butting, begging for belly rubs, and tooting most foully as we work on weaning him off purina kitten chow and on to a more protein based diet.
Anyway, Thank you guys! For all that you have done to make him the fine very lovable kitty that he IS!
