We are the Ainslie's and we adopted "Freckles" who is now Fergus. He
is the sweetest boy and learning every day. A Major chewer and hasn't
quite figured out that Ian (our 5 yr old Teddy Bear) is NOT a chew
toy! Rather than being a lab springer mix we are pretty sure that he
is an English Pointer/Lab. Originally afraid of getting into the car
he now thinks its okay as he loves going to see new places. Not sure
about the big waves at Lake Superior but after a few more trips he
will probably hit a day of calm "seas" and then it will be fun. Throws
the ball to himself and can spend many, many minutes playing catch.
Loves his dad and they have become great pals. Mostly house broken and
walks well on a gentle leader, bit of a puller without. Very into
deer, would chase them if allowed. So, I can let you know that he is
very happy in his new home and we are very happy with him. (has been
great when introduced to the grand kids. Will send pictures with them
some time).
