Sassy aka Beth!
I have nothing but good news to share with you about Beth (who is now renamed Sassy). Things are going even better than we hoped and she is fitting right in. She has a really sweet and calm personality and just loves to cuddle. Her older sister Tasha couldn't be happier and they have already bonded so well. Sassy was the perfect addition!
I have enclosed a few photos!
Hannah!
All is well with Hannah, new name Rainy, after our special family
vacation place on Rainy Lake. She is the sweetest puppy just like you
said and is adjusting to the new home life very well. I will try to
send photos of her with the kids when I can, still trying to find time
to get pictures from my camera to the computer for such fun.
Thanks for your inquiry.
Cheers,
Catherine
Dameon
Dameon (We call him Sir Reginald Barker or Regie) has settled in just
fine. He has 40 acres to run around on and makes great use of all of
it. :) He and Avi, our 9 month old daughter share toys. He is very
much a part of our family. We're still working on the house training
thing...he is getting really good, just has his accidents now and then.
The kitties are slowly adjusting to not ruling the roost
anymore. Three of the 4 are ok, the 4th one just thinks too highly of
herself.
I will send you a picture of him soon :)

I will send you a picture of him soon :)
Shea
Sadie - aka Harley
Harley/ Sadie is doing fine. I have started calling her Sadie and she is used to it now. She is smart and a good girl but she does have problems with separation anxiety. When I go to work she tries to dig out of her kennel outside. I try to take her with me whenever I get a chance she is a good rider. She is starting to go off my deck by herself most of the time. Only one accident in the house the first day I got her. She is a good loving sweet girl. She has so many changes in the last few months. I think she is doing fine when she realizes this is her final home. I think she might calm down some from the anxiety. She knows what sit, lay down and stay is. Here is a couple pics. Oh yes she would love to caught a rabbit, squirrel and birds. :) Sue
Dexter - aka Buster!
Things are going well! We're not quite used that much energy
in one package, but we're adjusting. Overall, he's doing quite well.
No accidents in the house, learning to 'work for the reward' and getting
along with the Boxer. We have a bit of work to do about yanking on the
leash and not 'counter-surfing'. And we've have a little issue with
appropriate toys (Erik's shoes are not appropriate.....). I'm still not
letting him have full access to our bird, not quite enough solid to
trust him.
It's a bit
exhausting-I tire out playing & running before they do! But, we're
coming along & I think it will just continually get
better.
We actually did
change his name to Dexter. Close enough to Buster that he responds the
same. He also was positive for Anaplasma (no symptoms though) and were
running through a course of antibiotics to get it all cleared up.
I'll send more pictures when he stands still enough to take them. The one I attached is him at work with me for the day.
Take care,
Kathy

Otis!
Just wanted to send you guys a little update on Otis. He is doing
awesome, we just love him. He's settled in very well. No major issues
since he came home with us. He is still a little weird around his food
bowl, but not in any way thats a problem for us, he's never aggressive
about food, he just takes a little encouraging before he's comfortable
enough to eat. But this is getting better. He loves chasing toys out
in the yard and going for walks in the neighborhood. His coat seems to
be coming back, his skin isnt so itchy all the time now and he is
getting really fuzzy and soft. We take him everywhere, he's getting
pretty good in the car and likes to people watch. He has a little blue
squeaky bone that he loves, takes it everywhere. He has been such a
good dog and we baby him like crazy. Thank you all for rescuing him and
taking such good care of him, he has become our little buddy and he
gets lots of love every day. Everyone who meets him just loves him, he
is such a sweet boy.
Thank you again for the work you all do, without you we wouldn't have our little boy!!!
Sincerely,
Don & Kristi

Mr. Demi - aka Loki!
Mr. Demi aka Loki is getting along wonderfully. We just noticed
today that he is noticeably bigger than when we picked him up and
his paws are really getting huge! He and our other puppy, Anabelle
romp around like crazy critters, playing and wrestling. Our favorite
is when they play tug of war together. No one can resist to rub his
belly or play with him. He's such a sweety. He seems to be settling
in really well!

Misty

Jasper aka Mr. Brook!
Jasper (formerly known as Mr. Brook) is doing great in his new
home! It took him a few days to get used to us, but now he loves to
play with his toys (especially his squeaky football) and follow us
both around the house. He also had his first playdate with another
dog last weekend and had a blast!
Jasper has already become a part of the family, and we can't imagine our house without him in it. I'm attaching a picture I took of him earlier today to this email - sorry it's a little blurry, but Jasper wasn't too keen on sitting still to have his picture taken. :)
Thanks again to you and the rest of the HSBC staff!
