Capone!
Sorry it's taken me a couple days to get back to you! He is doing really well and both dogs are getting along. I was a little concerned at first because Capone seemed to be a little toy-aggressive towards my other dog. He has been doing a lot better though and they play all the time!
He did have mild separation anxiety whenever I left the house for the first week or so - he seems to be doing better in that sense too, but it's crazy how attached they get so quickly. I mean from my end as well - he's so funny with toys and he just loves everything about everyone.
I still need to make the appointment to get him to see the vet for the 8th - things have been a little hectic the last couple weeks, but I will call and will be able to bring him up that day!
Thank you so much for helping me with this process - he's a great dog and I'm very happy with how things are going :)

Tuesday!
Tuesday
is doing great! I think he has settled right in. I can't believe no one
snatched this guy up before us, but we are grateful we got to bring him
home.
He
has pretty good house manners and is very gentle. He might be a bit big
for a lap dog but he doesn't seem to know that. They told us when we
picked him up that he likes tennis balls ... for sure. We play fetch for
at least a 1/2 hour every day after work, as well as take a 1/2 mile +
walk. He hasn't chewed on anything in the house, but can really do a
number on chew toys. We solved the problem by substituting rawhides for
"chew time" and balls for "play time".
It
has been a real joy having him around. It is nice to be able to go for a
walk and forget about work every day when I get home and curling up by
the fire in the evening just can't be beat.
I will be making a vet appointment for him at our local vet just so that they have him on record.
He
does very well with Sit and Shake and he has picked up on Down to lay
down. Stay is a work in progress but is coming along pretty well.
One
thing that would be helpful would be for
the shelter to let people know what commands he is used to. We just
happened to overhear a volunteer use "manners" to make him wait to
follow you out the door. He does very well with this command, but it was
just by chance that we found out he knows it. Other than that, Brenda
was great to work with.
We will add a couple new happy photos to the facebook page soon.
Thanks,
Mitch & Amy

Shay!
Shay has been an amazing addition to the family , between keeping
everyone motivated with daily walks to doing things together as a
family. She is very well mannered from staying by your side when
working out in the yard and garage to staying by my side for our nightly
runs .Thank you so much for the adoption..

Tank!
Hi:
So far I like my new home. Me and the Phantom (the other kitty) are getting along pretty good. It took a few days for her to warm up to me. If she hisses at me I just "plunk" my butt down and look cute. This has worked pretty good, we are now sitting together and playing together. There are cool kitty toys here--balls, kitty race track, the "tweeter" track. I get to sit on the couch and recliner with the humans. Being I like to sit on the floor, they found a rug just for me. I have not been jumping on the counters or table--at least not that the humans know about--and they like this about me. The humans don't understand how a big kitty like me can have such a little squeaky voice. Having a good time.
