LUNA (LUCY)

Thanks for following up, I have been meaning to send you an update.  We changed Lucy's name to Luna, since our good friends have a dog named Lucy already.  She is doing great!  She has been gaining weight really well and her incision healed perfectly.  She'll officially meet her new vet next week.  She loves our kids and understood amazingly quickly not to bother the baby. She is much more snuggly than I would have imagined.  She'll stretch in the funniest ways to lay her head on you while napping, and if you sit on the floor she will most certainly plop right in your lap.  She has already become friends with the neighbor dog and does really well playing with the kids in our backyard.  I attached a picture of them running around together.  The other picture is of her laying on our couch, her favorite nap spot next to her bed.  We had  a great experience with your shelter and couldn't be happier with our new pup.  We are diligently training her and are already excited to take her to the beach this summer. :)  Have a great day.
