BUDDY/WORMY

Buddy is doing fabulous. He is a well-mannered, perfect boy. He did start limping the morning after bringing him home. We took him to the vet, turned out he had Lyme’s Disease. He just finished his course of medication.

We still call him Buddy. His nickname is Wormy as he is very wiggly. All of the dogs love to run around the farm, they all go on runs through the woods chasing after Jon on the four-wheeler.

Buddy and our dog Zeus are BEST OF FRIENDS. They are constantly with each other, they play ALL DAY LONG. We tease and say it is as if we got our dog Zeus a dog, as he and Buddy are inseparable. Our other dog Sophie still gives all of her love to a stick or a ball.

Buddy’s original family must have loved him very much as he is a fabulous dog. I would like his original parents to know that we love him dearly and are thankful to them for raising such a wonderful dog. He fit right in with our family with no effort whatsoever. He hasn’t batted an eye at the chickens. He is a little too curious with the cat, however the cat holds her own with the dogs and she remains the queen in control. I truly would like his original family to know that we will love and provide the best home possible for him. I am sure that it broke their hearts to have to give him up as it is evident that he was loved and well cared for.

We plan to stop by with Buddy for a visit one day. I am sure that Ray would like to see him again.

On our way to pick up Buddy from you we happened to drive by a construction company selling trucks. We bought the Pooch Wagon on the spot. It is perfect for hauling the dogs to the swimming hole, rides into town and yes, they even like to sit in the van in the yard.

We honestly couldn’t be more happy with Buddy!!

Here is Jon walking the dogs down the ½ mile path to the swimming hole. Buddy is on the far right, Sophie is in the middle and Zeus is on the left. Everyone is required to walk behind Jon in formation.
